Created in 1969, the tea plantation is named Tea Complex of Butuhe (TCB).
Butuhe is the city where the plantation is located, in North Kivu, in DRC.
In 1973 the plantation had 195 hectares, now the total is 454 hectares.
In 1993, the company was privatized.
We value and respect our land: the tea is produced without the use of chemical fertilizers nor pesticides.
The tea grows in the beautiful valleys at high altitudes varying between 1900 and 2100 m.
We produce black and green tea (in metric tons)
